Arizona Karate Champions – Terms and Conditions Effective Date: February 15, 2026
Welcome to Arizona Karate Champions (the “Alliance,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at https://usakaratearizona.com/ (the “Site”), including any membership applications, directories, resources, events, or services we provide (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
1. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site or register for membership. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. Membership is available only to eligible dojo owners, instructors, coaches, athletes, sponsors, or supporters who meet our criteria.
2. Membership and Accounts
- Membership tiers (Founder Dojo, Partner Dojo, Sponsor, Coach Member, Athlete Member) are subject to approval and shared standards of collaboration, integrity, and competitive excellence.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information during registration and to update it as needed.
- We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any membership at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms or failure to uphold Alliance values.
- Membership benefits (e.g., recognition, directories, co-op marketing, event priority) are non-transferable and may change without notice.
3. User Conduct You agree not to:
- Use the Site/Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members, athletes, or staff.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Solicit or spam other users.
- Engage in conduct that damages the reputation of the Alliance, its members, or Arizona karate.
4. Intellectual Property All content on the Site (text, logos, graphics, photos, videos, “AZ Champs” branding, etc.) is owned by Arizona Karate Champions or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
- Limited license: Approved members may use designated Alliance logos/badges solely for promotional purposes in accordance with our brand guidelines (provided separately upon approval).
5. User Content If you submit content (e.g., athlete profiles, dojo info, photos, testimonials):
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and promote it in connection with the Alliance.
- You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights and is not defamatory or harmful.
- We may remove any content at our discretion.
6. Events and Competitions The Arizona Karate State Championships and any Alliance-supported events are governed by separate event rules, registration terms, and waivers (available at registration). Participation involves inherent risks of injury. By registering or participating, you agree to applicable waivers and release us, our affiliates, dojos, officials, and volunteers from liability for ordinary negligence (to the fullest extent permitted by law).
7. Disclaimer of Warranties The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific results from membership.
8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arizona Karate Champions, its officers, directors, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site/Services, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (if any).
9. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arizona Karate Champions and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site/Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
10. Termination We may terminate or suspend your access/membership immediately, without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other reason.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona. You waive any objection to venue or inconvenient forum.
12. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will post the revised date at the top.

14. Miscellaneous These Terms constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. No waiver of any term is a further waiver. We may assign these Terms; you may not without our consent.
